After college Larry moved to Vail, Colorado where he worked in general contracting with a focus on concrete foundations and floors when he wasn't busy skiing. After 5 years, he returned to Connecticut where he bought and operated a residential and commercial awning company in Fairfield County. He did this for 10 years before getting into business to business sales, which brought him to Saratoga County.
Kevin Koval, the owner of Adirondack Basement Systems saw what an asset Larry would be to the company with his positive attitude and loyalty- and brought him aboard. He began with the company as a sales representative and quickly was promoted to System Design Specialist. He is a trusted, valued member of Adirondack Basement Systems and upholds the standards of the company.
Larry has been thoroughly trained and has earned the highly-esteemed title “Certified Waterproofing Professional” through the Basement Systems International Waterproofing Contractor Network.
Larry spends his free time golfing, reading, hiking with his family, and following/watching his kids performing at their different sports and activities. Larry enjoys meeting with homeowners and helping them solve their basement water problems, enabling them to get more out of their homes.
Homeowners in Voorheesville, NY had a crawlspace beneath their home that caused the upstairs area to be much cooler than it should have been. It lacked proper insulation and was damp, due to water seeping through the seams of the foundation. Since this home was newly purchased, they decided it would be most ideal to rectify these issues as soon as possible. They contacted Adirondack Basement Systems for a free estimate with one of our Crawlspace specialists. Upon doing a thorough inspection, he recommended installing both a vapor barrier and a thermal barrier along the blocked walls of the crawlspace as well as sprayfoam in the joists. CleanSpace vapor barrier is made of an inorganic material which cannot support mold growth and is warrantied against rips and tears. ThermalDry Wall is a thermal barrier made with SilverGlo technology. The reflective material keeps heat from escaping and cold air from coming through.
