The "K" Family already had a partially finished basement and wanted to be sure that the basement would stay dry and could withstand water if ever there was some. The "K" Family decided to install an entire perimeter system and a sump pump to be sure any and all water is being drawn out of the basement. For finishing touches, they decided to go with our EverLast Finished Wall Restoration System. Our wall system uses only mold-resistant materials- with no vulnerable organic material. The wall panels and trim are not prone to damage like drywall, wood, moldings, fabrics, wood-based flooring, and wood framing. In fact, a basement refinished with the EverLast Panels can temporarily flood from a plumbing leak, inches deep, and it is highly unlikely that walls or trim will need to be replaced! For flooring, the "K" family decided to use our ThermalDry Basement Floor System, this flooring is also made with all inorganic material and will not support mold growth or get ruined during a surprise plumbing leak or ground water in heavy rain.
The CleanSpace liner is used to isolate the home from the earth and block water and dampness from coming through completely and permanently. This dramatically reduces the humidity level in the air and eliminates mold growth. The CleanSpace liner is carefully cut and installed by trained installers and is completely sealed over the walls to fully isolate moisture or dampness from coming through the concrete basement walls. The result is an attractive, bright, tough impervious liner - and a healthy home above it!
This homeowner had a finished basement that was damaged from water that was entering an unknown entry point. Worried about potential mold growth and the appearance, they contacted Adirondack Basement Systems to schedule a FREE estimate with one of our certified basement specialists named Tim VanKempen. After a thorough inspection, Tim suggested that the homeowner have our EverLast Restoration Wall Panels installed ro repair the damaged drywall. Each EverLast panel is waterproof and mold resistant with an R-13 insulation rating, all backed by a 50 year warranty.
This home was in need of new basement windows, as the existing windows were starting to rot and rust. Our EverLast windows are energy-efficient and vinyl-framed. They will never rot or rust like wooden and metal frames do. Easily removable, these windows can be cleaned and maintained without issue.
This family from Albany, New York decided to finish their basement to make room for their expanding family. This is a great before and after of the stairs (and underneath).
Mr. F contacted our company with concerns about his front porch creating a tripping hazard due to the concrete slab dropping and leaving a high step to get into his house. Our Design Specialist Tim met with Mr. F to discuss the best solution to this issue, suggesting our patented Poly Level System. Afterwards our foreman Michael came and inserted Poly Level into the concrete ultimately solving the issue and creating a safer porch for Mr. F and his family.
Our Poly Level System is a state of the art approach to repairing sinking concrete. Rather than using a mixture of concrete and mud, this method utilizes high-density polymers to raise slabs back to a desired level.
This shows the dramatic transformation of an old window to a new Everlast Window installed by Adirondack Basement Systems
Zen Walls are the simplest way to create a dry, clean, finished look on your basement walls.
Zen Wall is a 1/4 inch thick encapsulated fiberglass core with a reflective foil vapor barrier on the back side and a decorative vinyl finish on the front side. It is used with a perimeter basement waterproofing system to waterproof a basement wall, and stop water vapor from coming through the wall into the basement air. This enables your basement walls to look dry, and get a clean finished look in one easy step.
Homeowners in Clifton Park, NY had a wet basement. The moisture was causing black mold to grow, making it unsafe to breathe and ruining belongings that were in storage. Adirondack Basement Systems came in to install a complete waterproofing system to create a clean and safe usable space. Our TripleSafe Sump System was installed with a WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. A SaniDry CX dehumidifier was installed as well to keep the air dry and free of mold particulates. BrightWall paneling and ThermalDry flooring were both installed to spruce up the look of the basement and prevent water vapor from seeping in and ruining any belongings or supporting mold growth. The complete installation transformed their basement entirely!
Transform your unfinished basement into a healthy, comfortable and beautiful living area that your family will fall in love with.
