Facilities Assistant

Location: Mechanicville, NY
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 40 Hours per Week

At Adirondack Basement Systems, we're looking for a dependable, hands-on Facilities Assistant to help support our facility, installation crews, and day-to-day operations.

If you enjoy working with your hands, staying active, and taking on a variety of projects, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

• Perform general facility upkeep and basic maintenance
• Assist with minor repairs, assembly, and handyman-type projects
• Prepare and organize materials for installation crews
• Load and unload company trucks and deliveries
• Deliver materials, tools, and supplies to crews as needed
• Receive and put away incoming materials
• Organize tools, equipment, materials, and storage areas
• Help maintain equipment and company property
• Keep facility and work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Support other hands-on projects and operational needs as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Dependable with a strong work ethic and excellent attendance
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work throughout the day
• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
• Willing to take on a variety of tasks and projects
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• General labor, construction, maintenance, or handyman experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license preferred
