Press Release
Adirondack Basement Systems has been voted the Capital Region's local trusted experts in basements!
Mechanicville, NY – Adirondack Basement Systems has been named the 2026 Daily Gazette Best of the Best winner for Basements, recognizing the company for its continued commitment to helping Capital Region homeowners protect, improve, and make the most of their homes.
The annual Best of the Best awards highlight businesses and organizations recognized by Daily Gazette readers across a variety of categories throughout the Capital Region. Being selected as the 2026 Best of the Best in Basements is a meaningful recognition of the trust local homeowners place in Adirondack Basement Systems.
“We are incredibly grateful to be recognized by the readers of The Daily Gazette,” said Jayden Hamilton, Marketing Manager. “Our team works hard every day to provide homeowners with honest recommendations, quality solutions, and an experience that exceeds expectations. To have our local community recognize that commitment means a great deal to all of us.”
Founded in 1998, Adirondack Basement Systems is locally owned and operated and serves homeowners throughout the Capital Region and surrounding communities. The company specializes in basement waterproofing, foundation repair, crawl space solutions, concrete repair, and other home improvement solutions designed to help homeowners protect their homes and create healthier, more usable spaces.
The recognition adds to a growing list of honors for Adirondack Basement Systems. In 2026, the company was also recognized with the BBB Torch Award for Ethics, received Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave recognition, and continued to earn recognition from customers through online reviews and community awards.
For Adirondack Basement Systems, awards are ultimately a reflection of the people behind the work—from the crews installing solutions in homeowners’ basements to the Design Specialists helping homeowners understand their options and the support team coordinating each project.
“We’re proud of the work we do, but what makes this recognition especially meaningful is knowing it came from the people and communities we serve,” said Kevin Koval, Founder. “We want every homeowner who works with us to feel that they received more than a solution—they received a team they could trust.”
