This homeowner gave us a call after noticing consistent leaks in their basement and wanted them addressed before the problem got out of hand. After receiving an inspection from one of our certified design specialists and discussing matters with them, the homeowner decided to go through with a simple, yet effective waterproofing job. The first step our installation team took was to work off of the plan the design specialist drew up and measure out the proper locations for where the WaterGuard would go. The WaterGuard goes along the base of the wall where it meets the floor so a piece of both had to be cut out to make room for the WaterGuard. Once the product was laid, connected, and installed, our team filled in what they removed to not disrupt the original look of the basement. A WaterGuard system’s job is to collect water seeping in from the ground outside the basement and direct it to the sump pump. This house didn’t have an existing sump pump so we installed a brand new TripleSafe, which is an incredibly reliable product, more than capable of handling even the worst northeast storms. With these two products working off each other, leaks are now a thing of the past!
