Next, the TripleSafe was installed in the ground then hooked up to the WaterGuard and EDC pipes. The way this system works is any incoming moisture from outside the home gets directed into the WaterGuard, collected, and sent to the TripleSafe. From there, the TripleSafe pumps the water, even the largest amounts, out through the EDC and to the LawnScape outlet situated a proper distance away from the home so that the water doesn’t come flowing right back in. Finally, it was time for the foundation support portion of the job. The walls of the basement were bowing slightly, based on the measurements taken by an Adirondack Basement Systems design specialist. The displacement wasn’t too severe, so PowerBraces were the perfect choice. PowerBraces were custom-ordered and fitted to the floor and ceiling, right against the walls, taking the load of the foundation off the pre-existing walls. Over time, during annual maintenances, our service technicians will tighten the PowerBraces to help slowly return the walls to their original position, avoiding further damage if this was done suddenly.
