This homeowner reached out to us after finding humidity had caused the insulation to get saturated and mold began to grow. After discussing with the homeowner, Jon designed a encapsulation system that dramatically reduced the humidity and provided a dehumidifying filtration system that prevented mold and reduced odors.
A customer from Athens, NY called looking for wall support in her basement. The walls were shifting from weather changes and ground movement. As a result, our team installed PowerBrace to improved the home's structural integrity.
A homeowner from Athans, NY called in looking for a Sump Pump with a battery backup, incase the power ever goes out. Our team installed a SuperSump Sump Pump to keep the basement dry at all times.
This homeowner was having difficulty with their basement’s humidity. There are many fixes and improvements that can be done to alleviate this issue; the products that our Design Specialist determined best for this job in particular were a SaniDry Sedona and an EverLast window. Focusing on the EverLast window, this product is a perfect upgrade, providing great insulation to keep water out and heat in—all while being maintenance-free, so no sanding, reglazing, or repainting is needed. The installation process for this job involved taking careful measurements of the opening because each window is custom-made for the specific spot. Once that is complete and the window has arrived, our installation team carefully removed the old, rotting window and cleaned up any leftover debris. Then, the new EverLast is put in and sealed up perfectly to not allow anything in or out! Humidity is now a thing of the past with the help of an EverLast window!
This homeowner had a bowing foundation, so our team supported the walls with PowerBrace to prevent further damage.
