Adirondack Basement Systems Hosts "Cars & Canines" 2026, A Fundraiser to Support The Animal Protective Foundation

Mechanicville, NY: Adirondack Basement Systems is excited to announce Cars & Canines 2026, a special twist on its popular monthly Cars & Coffee events, taking place Saturday, May 9, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Adirondack Basement Systems warehouse. 

This family- and pet-friendly event is being held in support of the Animal Protective Foundation (APF) following a recent pipe burst that caused significant damage to APF’s surgical suite. One hundred percent of proceeds raised through vendor donations will be donated directly to APF to help support critical repairs and ongoing care for animals in need. 

Cars & Canines brings together car lovers and animal lovers for a day filled with community, compassion, and fun. Attendees can enjoy a car show, the grand opening of Adirondack Basement Systems’ on-site dog park, bounce houses, sweet treats, vendors, and more. All pets are welcome, provided they are leashed, vaccinated, and friendly. 

In addition to the event-day festivities, Adirondack Basement Systems will be selling pies from Smith’s Orchards for two months leading up to the event, with the pre-ordered pies being available for pickup during Cars & Canines. Proceeds from pie sales will also support the fundraiser. If you are interested in pre-ordering a pie for Mother’s Day, please contact [email protected]. 

The event welcomes vendors related to cars and animals, including but not limited to window tinters, car wrap companies, dealerships, auto parts stores, pet salons, pet/car insurance providers, pet supply vendors, homemade treat and toy makers, and jewelry/craft vendors. There are three sponsorship levels based on involvement. Please reach out to [email protected] by Friday, April 17th, 2026 to secure your spot! 

Held on Mother’s Day weekend, Cars & Canines proudly celebrates pet moms, human moms, car lovers, animal lovers, and family friends, embracing the event’s theme: “4 Wheels, 4 Paws, 1 Cause.”
