Car Show Registration is OPEN For Adirondack Basement Systems' Cars and Canines!

Mechanicville, NY – Adirondack Basement Systems is inviting car lovers and car groups from across the community to take part in the upcoming Cars and Canines event on Saturday, May 9th, 2026. The family-friendly fundraiser will feature a car show, local vendors, and activities to benefit the Animal Protective Foundation of Glenville, NY. 

Organizers are currently asking anyone interested in displaying a vehicle to complete a quick registration survey to help plan parking and event logistics! The car show is free to participate and open to all types of vehicles, including classic cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other unique rides. There will be voting from 10am-12pm and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners! 

Owners can register their vehicles here. Adirondack Basement Systems is not responsible for damage to vehicles or other personal property. 

Participation will be first come, first served, and while submitting the form helps with headcounts, it does not guarantee a reserved spot. Participants are encouraged to arrive starting at 9:00am on the day of the event to being parking and set-up. No car show displays will be permitted to enter after 10am. Adirondack Basement Systems will do its best to accommodate all vehicles!  

While there is no cost to display a vehicle, donations to support repairs to the Animal Protective Foundation surgical suite will be accepted and appreciated at the Adirondack Basement tent during the event.  

Adirondack Basement Systems is also seeking additional car and pet related vendors interested in having a 10 x 10 booth at the event! Businesses that would like to sponsor can request more information by emailing [email protected] 

Cars and Canines aims to bring together car enthusiasts, pet lovers, and community members for a day of fun while supporting animals in need! The event is quickly gaining traction on Facebook, with over 700 people interested in attending!
