A new homeowner in Delmar, NY had a small crawlspace with a vent that would constantly leak water creating a damp mess. It also effected the temperature on the first floor and these were both concerns that they wanted to be remedied so they could fully enjoy their new home. Our foreman Sean came and installed CleanSpace vapor barrier to floor of the crawlspace and SilverGlo around the walls. SilverGlo has an R-11 value insulation to keep more heat in the crawl space and home while Cleanspace protects from mold and mildew growth due to the humid environment of crawlspaces and basements.
This particular job called us with concerns of water leaking into her basement after heavy rainstorms. In the before photo, you can see just how much this rain was really affecting the basement, causing the wall and floor to look dirty. We installed our WaterGuard drainage system, along with our TripleSafe Sump Pump System. This system keeps your basement dry with three levels of protection, in case the water ever rises past the first main pump, or if your power ever goes out. Your basement won't flood with this system put into place. Now, she can put her stuff back into the basement again without having them getting wet.
