Fixing Cold Floors Due To Poor Crawlspace Insulation in Clifton Park, NY

Challenge
A homeowner recently called in with concerns of a 20 year old underground room that was affecting the temperature of his whole house. The homeowner stated the room created a "particularly cold floor in the winter". He was looking for insulation to help with the heat efficiency.
Solution
We sent a Design Specialist out to identify the source of cold air. After evaluating the area, he determined there was little to no insulation in the crawlspace, creating a cold, damp environment, which poses as a threat for mold later on. As a result, we installed TerraBlock, Rim Joist Insulation, SolverGlo, CleanSpace, and Drainage Matting, for a full crawlspace encapsulation.
