Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

This before and after shows how much a Crawl Space Encapsulation can make a difference. This customer called with concerns about water appearing in the crawl space when the groundwater would rise. We decided to encapsulate the crawl space and install the SaniDry Sedona to keep the humidity low. Now, they have a beautiful crawl space that is well insulated and waterproof. 

This crawlspace had humidity and moisture problems as well as fiberglass insulation falling down and creating a mess. The homeowner was looking for a solution to prevent moisture and odors from coming into the home, as well as an efficient insulation solution. Our Foreman Sean installed CleanSpace vapor barrier along with SilverGlo insulation barrier to do just that. The homeowner also chose to have a SaniDry Sedona installed to help control the humidity and particles in the air beneath their home.

Homeowners in Voorheesville, NY had a crawlspace beneath their home that caused the upstairs area to be much cooler than it should have been. It lacked proper insulation and was damp, due to water seeping through the seams of the foundation. Since this home was newly purchased, they decided it would be most ideal to rectify these issues as soon as possible. They contacted Adirondack Basement Systems for a free estimate with one of our Crawlspace specialists. Upon doing a thorough inspection, he recommended installing both a vapor barrier and a thermal barrier along the blocked walls of the crawlspace as well as sprayfoam in the joists. CleanSpace vapor barrier is made of an inorganic material which cannot support mold growth and is warrantied against rips and tears. ThermalDry Wall is a thermal barrier made with SilverGlo technology. The reflective material keeps heat from escaping and cold air from coming through.

This dirt floor crawlspace was always wet and let lots of cool air out and hot air in over the summer. Our CleanSpace encapsulation system is the perfect fix!
