Basement to Beautiful Installation in Richmondville, NY

These two photos showcase the difference that our Basement to Beautiful (B2B) product can make on a basement.  This is a very unique wall paneling system that creates a vapor barrier, holding back any moisture from passing through the porous concrete walls. The B2B panels are made with a 2 ½” graphite-infused SilverGlo Insulation and a lightweight metal stud system that is highly durable. The installation process is quick, efficient, and is ready to accept wall paneling, prepping your basement for any potential finishing you may desire. Also, it can also be fully integrated with any of our basement systems, which is exactly what this homeowner did. They purchased TripleSafe Sump System, which is a powerful product that can handle large amounts of water in case of bad flooding, but with all the other products they have installed—including the Basement to Beautiful, moisture will hardly have a chance of getting in. Any potential water from the walls will be redirected by the B2B directly into the sump pump and sent away from the house. Basement to Beautiful is a fantastic product for anyone looking to add a moisture barrier or finish their basement.

Old Basement Waterproofing in Maplecrest, NY

This customer had purchased the property a little over a year prior to giving us a call to look at their crawlspace. The ground was more or less entirely dirt, which meant moisture had no problem getting in and disrupting the house. One of our design specialists met with the homeowner and inspected the area to determine some possible solutions. After getting a good feel for the space and what could be done to combat the moisture, we demoed the project for the homeowner, and they liked what they saw. The first big step for waterproofing this crawlspace was to install CleanSpace along the ground and walls to create a protective barrier from any invading water. Next, a SaniDry Sedona was put in to keep the humidity as low as possible. Installation of this product is easy due to the small size of the dehumidifier, but make no mistake; the SaniDry Sedona is powerful and effective against moisture in the air. With these two products working to protect the crawlspace, water problems won’t be a worry for this homeowner.

Basement Waterproofing in Freehold, NY

This client had water seeping into her basement after it rained, and she was worried about the amount of water that was coming in. We decided that we should install our TripleSafe sump pump, along with our WaterGuard drainage system, which drains into the sump pump. The before and after is showing how the basement looked at its worse, and how we managed to fix it so our customer feels comfortable entering her basement and using it for storage. The worry of her stuff getting wet is no longer an issue!

Repairing Basement Walls in Greenville, NY

Homeowners in Greenville, NY had a semi-finished basement that was damaged due to a few rainstorms in early Fall. They had originally used drywall which became warped, discolored and started to grow mold. This made their once usable space inhabitable and unhealthy. Luckily, their good friend had used Adirondack Basement Systems for their own home and knew that we could provide the ideal solution to repair the homeowners basement permanently.

After meeting with one of our highly trained Design Specialists, they decided it would be best to start at the root of the cause and install a complete waterproofing system including our TripleSafe sump pump and WaterGuard perimeter drainage system. To repair the walls, our Design Specialist had the perfect solution, our EverLast wall restoration. Since only the lower half of the wall is affected by water, the drywall can be cut out and replaced with the EverLast boards. They are designed specifically for basements in that they are made of inorganic materials thus making them mold resistant. The homeowners also decided to have flooring put in as well after learning about the comfort our ThermalDry Flooring provides. Being raised on pegs up off the concrete floor, they can be about 10 degrees warmer than the concrete itself. They too are made from inorganic material so you will never have to worry about them being damaged from mold or mildew if they ever get wet. These homeowners now have a dry, usable and visually appealing basement!

Basement Waterproofing and Finishing in Delanson, NY

The "K" Family already had a partially finished basement and wanted to be sure that the basement would stay dry and could withstand water if ever there was some.  The "K" Family decided to install an entire perimeter system and a sump pump to be sure any and all water is being drawn out of the basement.  For finishing touches, they decided to go with our EverLast Finished Wall Restoration System.  Our wall system uses only mold-resistant materials- with no vulnerable organic material.  The wall panels and trim are not prone to damage like drywall, wood, moldings, fabrics, wood-based flooring, and wood framing. In fact, a basement refinished with the EverLast Panels can temporarily flood from a plumbing leak, inches deep, and it  is highly unlikely that walls or trim will need to be replaced!  For flooring, the "K" family decided to use our ThermalDry Basement Floor System, this flooring is also made with all inorganic material and will not support mold growth or get ruined during a surprise plumbing leak or ground water in heavy rain.
